The Center for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development (CDRSP) of the Polytechnic of Leiria has created a 300-kilogram plastic piece designed to be a demonstrator for the mobilizing project Add.Additive, led by ADIRA, a company of the Sonae Capital Group, with the participation of several Portuguese universities and companies, including PERIPLAST.<\/p>

Perhaps the largest piece made by 3D printing in Portugal with a Portuguese extrusion system.<\/p>

There are companies in the United States making ton-scale parts and only a few in Europe, according to Artur Mateus, at the time, director of CDRSP.<\/p>

It is a \"small module of a bus stop\" that took about 20 hours to produce, which was conceived and designed by Weadd and produced using Periplast technology.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
